The Blessing Box at Amazing Grace is filled with food and personal care items. Anyone in the community is welcome to come to the Blessing Box and take whatever items they may need. If you are a community member in need of food or personal care items, feel free to stop by. There are no requirements, no explanations needed—just an open invitation to receive help and a reminder that you matter.
Donations:
If you would like to donate items to the Blessing Box, please see the list below. Drop off hours are the second Friday of every month from 9 am - 1 pm. Please email us at [email protected] or call 440-442-6441 for more information.
The items needed currently include:
Canned meat or tuna
Canned fruit
Canned pasta
Pasta sauce
Peanut butter
Rice
Cereal
Granola bars
Please bring items to the back office where they will be stored until needed.
Any fresh produce, opened or expired items will be thrown away.
For future reference, the items we accept for the box are:
Canned meats or tuna
Canned beans and soups
Canned fruits and vegetables (please no single serving packs of fruit)
Canned pasta and pasta sauce
Dry noodles including ramen and mac and cheese
Dry rice, beans and potatoes
Cereal and granola bars
Peanut butter
Hygiene items accepted: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and toilet paper. Please remember the box is small and cannot accommodate large items like laundry detergent, body wash and paper towels.
